Three-day Open House at the Romaco India Experience Centre in Hyderabad
Romaco India showcases blister packaging and tableting expertise
Karlsruhe/Germany, 2026-07-22 +++ During an open house event, the experts from Romaco India transformed the Experience Centre in Hyderabad into a venue for professional exchange over the course of three days. From 9 to 11 July 2026, the Romaco team discussed specific production requirements with its guests, presented the S 710 Prime tablet press and, through more than 30 demonstrations featuring the NBL 400 blister line, showcased its capabilities in the field of Blister packaging and cartoning.
The event location in Hyderabad provided the perfect setting for the in-depth face-to-face interactions. The Experience Centre houses, amongst other things, a spare parts warehouse, an equipment showroom and a process technology laboratory that combines Romaco’s Expertise in granulation, tableting and coating of solid pharmaceutical products. Even beyond the Open House, the centre serves as a point of contact for Indian pharmaceutical companies that seek high-Performance technologies and technical know-how.

This promising connection became particularly tangible from 9 to 11 July: Romaco India hosted a three-day Open House at the Romaco Experience Centre in Hyderabad, that features services ranging from customer training on various technologies to support in the development of new products as well as the ramp- up of new, locally manufactured format parts. The local format part production for
blister packaging machines and cartoners was just launched last autumn.
The response was consistently encouraging throughout the event. 86 Senior leaders and operational specialists from 24 pharmaceutical companies took part, representing functions such as operations, production, engineering, Project management, quality assurance, supply chain, procurement and Commercial management.
The mix of decision-makers and technical professionals gave the discussions real depth and additionally many visitors arrived with concrete production, packaging and project requirements, which allowed the Romaco team to address specific challenges and identify suitable solutions on site.
Hands-on technology
The Open House also put technology into action. Romaco India presented the Kilian S 710 Prime tablet press as an example of high-performance production. With up to 85 press stations, it achieves a maximum output of 1,020,000 tablets per hour. Detailed live demonstrations on the Noack NBL 400 blister packaging line were also conducted. In total, more than 30 demonstrations took place over
the three days, in which the blister line showed its versatility in practice. Customers experienced machine operation, product flow, format changeover, line Integration and key performance features first-hand.
With an output of up to 400 blisters and 200 cartons per minute, the NBL 400 Blister line operates in lengthwise mode across up to five tracks – ideal for medium Batch sizes. Consisting of a blister machine with rotary sealing and a continuous Motion cartoner, the line can pack tablets and capsules of a wide variety of specifications either with dedicated feeding or using a brush-box feeder. Also, the robust machine is very easy to operate, meaning no special technical know-how is needed to carry out product or format changes. In short, this long-lasting technology scores with premium quality and flexibility at low unit packaging costs and with a very low initial investment.
