cts Group launches cts Seamless Intralogistics
Storage, transport, and OT communication as an integrated ecosystem
cts Group launches cts Seamless Intralogistics
Burgkirchen/Alz (Germany), May 8, 2026 +++ cts Group, a specialist in industrial automation solutions, is introducing its restructured intralogistics portfolio as part of the company's rebrand. Under the name cts Seamless Intralogistics, the Manufacturing Automation division brings together its solutions for custom-engineered storage, autonomous material transport, and integrated OT communication into a clearly structured ecosystem of three product families that can be used independently but were designed as an integrated system.
cts STORAGE – Custom-engineered storage and buffer modules for specific production areas, including cts CUBE Storage, cts OCTA Storage, cts REEL Storage, and cts REEL Tower.
cts MOVEMENT – Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) from multiple vendors as well as stationary conveyor and buffer systems for cycle-time-independent material flow between storage and the production line, including cts AMR Movement and cts Buffer Movement.
cts CONNECT – The digital control and coordination layer of the ecosystem: cts CONNECT aXes manages inventory levels, transport orders, and production states in real time, and connects all components with the customer's existing IT infrastructure.
Suitable for any production environment, scalable in steps
The modular architecture of STORAGE, MOVEMENT, and CONNECT applies to any production environment where intralogistics is a bottleneck. Companies can start with a single product family and expand the system step by step. cts CONNECT aXes can be integrated into existing ERP and MES systems without requiring any replacement of current infrastructure. "With cts Seamless Intralogistics, we're making visible what our customers have been experiencing for years: storage, transport, and digital control only deliver their full value when they operate as one connected system. That's the process logic we're now communicating more clearly with the new name", says Alfred Pammer, VP Sales, Marketing & Product Management, cts Group Manufacturing Automation. Stefan Schmiedlechner, Division Manager, cts Group Manufacturing Automation, adds: "Our goal was never to deliver individual automation modules – it was to design material flows that make production more stable, more transparent, and more scalable. cts Seamless Intralogistics puts that ambition into words: modular at entry, integrated in outcome."
