ystral presents energy-efficient mixing and dispersion technologies at the European Coatings Show in Nuremberg / Germany
Ballrechten-Dottingen, 08 March 2023. The German machine and plant manufacturer ystral makes the energetic saving potential of a more efficient process technology the focus of its booth at the European Coatings Show 2023 (ECS). The leading exhibition about all aspects of the production of paints, varnishes, printing inks, construction chemicals and adhesives takes place in Nuremberg / Germany from 28 to 30 March 2023.
ystral projects, designs and manufactures highly efficient mixing, dispersing and powder wetting machines as well as process systems, which are used worldwide in the production of paints, varnishes, printing inks and coatings, as well as other industries. The guiding theme of ystral’s trade show presentation this year at the European Coatings Show in hall 4 (booth no. 4-553) is “Saving energy using more efficient process technology”.
“In light of drastically increased energy prices, manufacturers of paints, varnishes, printing inks and coatings are more than ever faced with the task to increase the efficiency of their production processes and reduce their energy demand,” says Dr.-Ing. Hans-Joachim Jacob, Senior Expert Process and Applications at ystral. “Compared to conventional solutions such as high speed dissolvers or agitators, modern mixing and dispersion technologies achieve significant improvements here – depending on the application, the energy demand can be reduced by up to 90%. We would like to enter discussions with manufacturers in these industries at the ECS about where they need to start to markedly lower their energy demand and overall production costs.”
The levers for a more energy-efficient production of paints, varnishes, printing inks and coatings presented at the ystral exhibition booth include the shortening of process times, a minimised use of grinders, cold production processes and a reduced space requirement due to using more efficient systems. Amongst others, ystral will present at ECS the inline powder wetting and dispersing machine YSTRAL Conti-TDS, as well as the YSTRAL Jetstream Mixer.
